Inspired by the adventurous and ever resourceful chipmunk, tired of bars and sugar-laden snacks, and motivated to find an on-the-go real food solution, the creators of Munk Pack got to work. Started in their kitchen combining homemade oatmeals and smoothies into bottles for their own use, they soon discovered the convenience of the spouted pouch and began producing this tasty treat for others. All 3 flavors (Apple Quinoa Cinnamon, Blueberry Acai Flax, and Raspberry Coconut) have no artificial ingredients, are gluten free, non-GMO, kosher, vegan and come in a BPA-free pouch. The satisfying and tasty combination of whole grain rolled oats, flax and fruits provides sustained energy.

Outcome
These tasty treats have become a staple in my pack and purse. The combination of oats, grains, and fruit produce a satisfying snack that is not too sweet and provide much needed energy when one is out being adventurous. They make a great on-the-go breakfast , pick me up on the trail, or energy boost when out and about all day. I am sure people will have their favorite flavors, but I liked all 3 equally. Munk Pack makes a great alternative to bars, fruit/veggie pouches and sugary snacks.
The Vitals
Pros: Screw on cap means no mess when you toss the empty pouch back in your bag, carefully sourced ingredients and packaging you can stand behind, 1% for the Planet member.
Cons: When you realize you only have one left you will hoard it until you know that replacements are coming. Not available in a lot of stores yet (looks like they may be coming to Whole Foods soon) meaning you have to buy them online and amazon.com only has the blueberry flavor. 4.2oz for 100 calories could be a little heavy for a long backpack where you are trying to travel light
